OBIETTIVI FORMATIVI

At the end of the course students will be able to fully understand the Law related to the insurance business as opposed to the banking one, to manage the main legal framework of the insurance sector with reference to asset/liabilities balance, solvency capital requirements, risk management, corporate governance

MODALITÀ DI VERIFICA DELL'APPRENDIMENTO

The student will be assessed not only for knowledge of the topics, but also for reasoning ability. Mastery of the reference legislative text (civil code and special laws relevant to the subject), which the student can consult during the exam. For attending students, the activity carried out on the moodle platform will also be considered.

Program delves into specific areas of insurance law, including: -Insurance Contracts: Understanding the terms, conditions, and legal implications of insurance contracts.  -Insurance Regulations: Studying the laws and regulations governing the insurance industry, including licensing, solvency, and consumer protection.  -Financial and non financial reporting  Specialized Areas: -Life Insurance Law: Focus on legal issues related to life insurance policies and benefits.  -Property and Casualty Insurance: Focus on legal aspects of property damage and liability insurance.  -Reinsurance: Focus on the legal aspects of reinsurance contract
