The final exam will be based on the notes taken at the lessons.

Learning Objectives
The course is supposed to set students perceive the historical reasons civil trial and its mode of operation
Prerequisites
In order to take the exam, students must
have passed:
- General Constitutional Law
- Private Law I.
It is also highly recommended to have passed
the exam of Institutions of Roman Law.

Lectures, seminars.Frontal teaching: total 48 hours
Type of Assessment
Verification of learning will be based on an oral examination. During the oral examination, the critical maturity of the student will be evaluated in relation to the topics discussed: exam consists of two questions. It will assess the ability to understand interconnections between the various fields and the critical awareness reached overall in relation to the content of the course.
Course program
The program aims to present the historical and juridical cornerstones of civil trial in ancient Rome. Instrumental role of the trial as moment of legal substance will be the object of special attention.
